This way, nobody loses and the prices stay right where they belong, at the best possible price for you, our customer. 15 - Ensuring product integrity Dufferin Tile has strict store policies that allows us to ensure product integrity so that you, our customer, will always receive the best quality materials possible. The Dufferin Tile return policy is designed precisely towards this end! For instance, at Dufferin Tile we do not permit the return of any perishable installation materials. These materials are subject to damage from frost, moisture, extreme heat etc... and as a result, those companies who do take these materials back could very well be trying to sell you ruined material. And as we all know, its expensive enough to renovate your home without having to do it over again because someone gave you damaged goods! In addition to this, that same return policy does not allow the return of any sale items. This is because we wish to ensure that the dye lots (or batches) on our tiles are never mixed. We do not take back old material with different shades and mix it with newer, current stock. Of course, it also doesn't hurt to know that this same policy allows us to better assess our labour costs. Knowing that we will not have to pay employees to restock that material allows us to be bold when it comes to cutting prices and profit margins. It is important to note that our replacement policy is also aimed towards product integrity, as we will take back any broken or defective tiles and replace (stock permitting) them with new tiles, no questions asked and free of charge.
